Outdoor Nature Enrichment Program
(Fridays in the Fall and Spring)
Every Friday in the Fall and Spring, we meet at the beautiful and scenic Martial Cottle Park which is also known for its organic farming and gardening. The children enjoy free outdoor explorations, connecting with nature and building friendships. The children also volunteer at the Master Gardeners program to learn about growing food, composting, identifying California native plants, and sustainability. The Outdoor enrichment program gives children the opportunity to experience the natural world and engage in meaningful work.
For one Friday a month, we have our monthly field trips to museums, aquariums, farms etc. to further enrich the children's learning experience outside the classroom.
